Apply for Our Graduate Programs

Graduate applications proceed through the Graduate Division of UC Merced. Information on application requirements can be found at the Graduate Division Web site. Prospective graduate students are also encouraged to discuss their research interests with individual faculty members. The application deadline is January 15. If you wish to submit an application after the program deadline date, contact the Graduate Admissions Chair.

Financial Support

Newly admitted students will normally be supported as graduate teaching assistants (TAs) during their first two semesters in residence. After that, students will be supported as either TAs or GSRs depending on availability of TAships and the research advisor’s funding situation.
